Portable Contamination Analysis Kit

The Pall portable contamination analysis kit forms an invaluable tool for monitoring contamination control. It enables you to make an on-the-spot assessment of system fluid cleanliness and to identify the types of contaminant in conjunction with the Pall contamination level booklet (PIH SIS ECLB). The kit comes complete with everything you require for immediate use, including a high quality microscope with 100x magnification and mechanical vernier stage; and a robust, quiet electric vacuum pump. You are also supplied with full operating instructions and guidance to this application in a wide range of oil condition monitoring and trouble shooting. Pall provides a scientific laboratory service which can give you full support in your ‘Total Cleanliness Control’ programme. Water contamination in fluids can cause numerous problems such as additive depletion, oil oxidation, corrosion, reduced lubricating film thickness, accelerated component wear rates, microbial growth, and reduction of dielectric strength. These problems can be averted with periodic monitoring so that timely action can be implemented.
The Pall Water Sensor measures and displays the relative water saturation of the fluid. It can be used as a monitor to indicate the water content of the fluid, providing the customer with meaningful information on which to base their service and maintenance procedures.

Water in fluids can cause numerous problems such as additive depletion, oil oxidation, corrosion, reduced lubricating properties, accelerated component wear rates and microbial growth. Such problems can be averted with periodic monitoring so that corrective actions can be implemented immediately. The Pall WS07X Water Sensor can be used as a monitor to indicate the water content of a fluid, expressed as percentage saturation and provide meaningful information on which to base service and maintenance procedures. The Pall WS07X Water Sensor may be permanently installed to monitor critical applications or used for routine condition monitoring of various fluid
systems. The Pall WS07X Water Sensor meets ATEX requirements and complies to the health and safety standards of intrinsically safe machinery corresponding with the following standards: EN50014, EN 50020 and EN50284. The sensing probe and sensor driver units are approved intrinsically safe standard II category 1/2 G-EEx isgroup IIC T6 (Zone 0 for the sensing probe/ Zone 1 for sensor driver unit), whilst the supply and evaluation unit is approved for use in non-hazardous areas only.logo_pallhr_square[1]

It is ideal for in-line monitoring of moisture in hydraulic, lubrication and insulation oils, contributing to the predictive maintenance of plant and machinery. Specifically designed for harsh industrial environments the WS08 Water Sensor features a modular housing concept and simple on-site adjustment.
