Offshore Umbilical Replacement Completed Following Site Survey

Trident Australia has successfully completed an offshore umbilical replacement project, delivering a complete solution from initial site survey through to engineering, manufacture, testing and offshore installation.

The project commenced with an offshore survey of the existing umbilicals on wellhead panels. This front-end assessment enabled our team to accurately capture site conditions and ensure the replacement assemblies were designed to suit the application and installation requirements.

Following the survey, Trident Australia engineered, manufactured and pressure tested two new 3-core umbilicals before preparing them for mobilisation offshore. Completing this work in-house provided confidence that the assemblies met the required quality standards before installation.

The offshore scope included the removal of the existing umbilicals and installation of the new assemblies in a challenging operating environment. The work was completed safely and efficiently by our experienced technicians, with careful planning and execution helping to minimise downtime and ensure a smooth installation.

Projects like this demonstrate the importance of carrying out detailed front-end surveys before manufacturing begins. By designing assemblies to suit actual site conditions, potential installation issues can be reduced while improving efficiency during offshore execution.

From engineering and hose manufacturing through to testing and offshore field services, Trident Australia continues to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions that support the ongoing operation and reliability of critical offshore equipment.
