Trident Australia has been engaged to deliver a major umbilical replacement campaign supporting critical offshore operations for a key oil and gas customer. The project involves the manufacture and installation of multiple 3-core umbilicals, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, reliability, and operational performance. In offshore environments where equipment integrity is critical, every stage of the project must be executed to exacting standards.
Each umbilical assembly is being manufactured using Parker Polyflex high-pressure hose assemblies under Trident Australia's Parker assembly accreditation. Designed for demanding subsea applications, the assemblies are fitted with Parker Snap-Tite 71 Series couplings and incorporate multiple layers of protection to withstand the challenges of offshore service.

Before installation, every assembly undergoes rigorous testing and verification processes to ensure compliance with project requirements. All hose assemblies are pressure tested under Trident Australia's NATA accreditation and flushed to NAS 6 cleanliness requirements. These processes help verify assembly integrity, cleanliness, and performance prior to mobilisation. Comprehensive documentation and quality assurance records are also produced, providing customers with full traceability and confidence in the completed assemblies.
A key advantage of this project is Trident Australia's ability to deliver the entire scope in-house. Once manufacturing, testing, flushing, and documentation activities are complete, Trident Australia's offshore technicians will mobilise to site to remove the existing umbilicals and install the new assemblies. This end-to-end capability allows Trident Australia to manage every stage of the project lifecycle, from engineering and manufacture through to compliance, testing, mobilisation, and offshore execution.
