Bunkering Hoses

Product Code: BUNKERING HOSES

Brand: Trident Services

Trident Australia manufactures and supplies complete bunkering hose assembly solutions for marine and offshore transfer operations. These assemblies are engineered for the reliable handling of fuel, potable water, diesel, chemicals and general utilities. Our experience and in house capabilities gives us full control over quality, testing, certification and documentation. The result is a high-integrity product suitable for vessels, offshore platforms, port facilities and terminal operations.

Design and Construction
Bunkering hose assemblies are constructed using large-bore flexible hose technologies designed to handle demanding flow rates, varied media types and harsh environmental conditions. Assemblies can be configured to match project specifications, operational requirements and classification needs. Key construction elements include:

  • Large-bore flexible hose designs suitable for fuel, potable water, diesel, chemical and utility transfer.
    • Wide selection of end-connection options including Dry Break Couplings, Marine Breakaway Couplings, Swivel Joints, Camlock and Flange connections, Hammer Unions and threaded terminations.
    • Protective outer covers and reinforcements available for abrasion, UV, saltwater and mechanical protection.
    • Integration of lifting lugs, hose saddles or handling solutions depending on site requirements.
    • Custom lengths and configurations available for ship-to-shore, rig-to-vessel and platform utility services.

Testing and Certification
All bunkering hose assemblies are tested and certified in-house to ensure operational safety and compliance. Trident provides:

  • NATA-endorsed hydrostatic pressure testing for verification of hose integrity.
    • Electrical continuity and resistance testing for fuel transfer systems where static control is required.
    • Optional pneumatic or additional functional testing based on project requirements.
    • Full serialisation and traceability for fleet management, offshore audits and QA compliance.

Documentation
Every bunkering assembly can be supplied with a full Manufacturing Data Report (MDR). Documentation typically includes:

  • Material traceability for hose, fittings, couplings and welds.
    • Hydrostatic and electrical test reports, including NATA-endorsed certification where applicable.
    • Traceability of all certificates and reference test equipment.
    • General arrangement (GA) drawings for installation and verification.
    • Material data sheets and specifications.
    • Full welding traceability where welded terminations are included.

Applications
Bunkering hose assemblies are deployed across a wide range of marine and offshore environments, including:

  • Marine bunkering operations for fuel, water and utility transfer.
    • Offshore platforms requiring robust, compliant transfer systems.
    • Port and terminal operations supporting vessel support services and general transfer duties.
