When we build a Low Pressure Test Unit we often use ball valves rather than needle valves as we would in a High Pressure Test Unit. That is because the low pressure units have a lot higher flow and need the ball valve to get the most out of the pump. The challenge is that ball valves take up a lot more room so we need a bigger frame. This unit has the stretched 101 Series frame which is perfect for this application or other applications including the need for a larger tank.
Low Pressure Test Unit Ball Valves
These Low Pressure Test Unit 101 Series use the Colson BH Series ball valves to 6000 psi. Yes that’s low pressure sometimes!
