Quick Disconnect Couplings

Subsea coupling

Subsea Coupling

Features of the Subsea couplings are that they can connect & disconnect at full operating pressure. Other features include working pressures to 40,000 psi (2760 bar) and balanced designs to reduce separation forces. These subsea couplings are fabricated from corrosion resistant metals suitable for subsea applications. Minimum spillage and water ingress.

Available with elastomer or “PEEK” seals.

Snap-tite has designed and manufactured couplings for the Offshore Oil and Gas industry
for use in a variety of applications from blowout preventors to the control modules, and
distribution of chemical coolants and hydraulic fluids. These include mono couplings (manual operation), diver mateable thread-to-connect couplings equipped with handles,
complete panel assemblies, protective covers, and keyed (polarized) mono couplings to prevent cross media connections.logo_snaptite[1]

Series 135

Series-135

• Extremely high working pressure
• Non-drip on connection and disconnection
• Built-in safety device to avoid unintentional disconnection
• High safety factor
• Individual pressure tested up to max. working pressure before delivery
• Dust caps included as standard

Series 135 is a CEJN original for extremely high working pressure, 300 MPa. The series also withstands pressure up to 300 MPa while disconnected (applies to the coupling and nipple). Non-Drip connection and disconnection are standard on the CEJN High-Pressure range. The coupling also has a safety ring for the locking sleeve to prevent accidental disconnection. Plastic dust caps are standard on both coupling and nipple. Swiveling can cause wear damage over time why the nipple is available in both swivel and non-swivel designs. Each coupling and nipple are pressure tested up to full working pressure before delivery. The series makes it possible to connect pumps and accessories faster, safer and more conveniently, even at extreme pressure. The Series 135 is in the first place recommended for bearing pullers, splitters and hydraulic test installations.CEJINC[1]

68 and 63 series poppets

68 and 63 Series Poppets

The applications of the 68 and 63 series poppets are mobile equipment requiring bracket mounting and connect/disconnect under pressure capability.

The coupler on 68 and 63 series poppets is push-to-connect and capable of
breakaway under pressure when bracket mounted. The poppets are interchangeable with other 1/2″ standard ISO 7241-1 Series A couplings. The nipple conforms to dimensional and performance requirements of ISO 5675 and the shielded valve in 63N8 nipple prevents reverse flow checking. The poppets include a heavy duty plated steel construction† and working pressures to 3,000 psi (207 bar). The size is 1/2″. The poppets include double shut-off.
