Couplings – High Pressure

Subsea coupling

Subsea Coupling

Features of the Subsea couplings are that they can connect & disconnect at full operating pressure. Other features include working pressures to 40,000 psi (2760 bar) and balanced designs to reduce separation forces. These subsea couplings are fabricated from corrosion resistant metals suitable for subsea applications. Minimum spillage and water ingress.

Available with elastomer or “PEEK” seals.

Snap-tite has designed and manufactured couplings for the Offshore Oil and Gas industry
for use in a variety of applications from blowout preventors to the control modules, and
distribution of chemical coolants and hydraulic fluids. These include mono couplings (manual operation), diver mateable thread-to-connect couplings equipped with handles,
complete panel assemblies, protective covers, and keyed (polarized) mono couplings to prevent cross media connections.logo_snaptite[1]

71 series drybreak coupling

71 Series Drybreak Coupling

The 71 series drybreak coupling includes ball-locking push-to-connect construction. The flush face design allows for easier contaminant inspection and cleaning and the flush valve virtually eliminates fluid loss and air inclusion. The Drybreak 71 series is dirt tolerant and the heavy duty construction withstands abusive treatment. In addition, these couplings have superior flow characteristics and low pressure drop. Working pressures to 10,000 psi (690 bar). Sizes from 1/8″ to 2″.

Plated steel or 316 stainless steel construction†

†Conforms with ROHS and WEEE European Union Directives

Applications include hydraulic as well as chemical service. This series is ideal for test stands and applications where endurance and cleanliness is a requirement.
