ABD Series Double Acting Air Boosters

The ABD series of double acting air boosters are available in two ratios 2:1 and 5:1 to take existing plant air and boost pressure by the corresponding ratio. The ABD boosters operate on the same principal as our AB boosters, but are capable of much higher flows. The ABD series can boost pressure up to 1,250 psig (ABD-5) and are easily modified for use with common industrial gases.sc-hydraulic-L12627[1]

L10 Series Double Acting Liquid Pumps

L10series doule acting liquid pump

The L10 Series Double Acting Liquid Pump is the largest liquid pump currently manufactured by SC with a 10″ diameter air cylinder, this double acting liquid pump is available in 4 ratios, the highest of which is capable of hydraulic pressures up to 20,000 psig.

Created primarily for the offshore rental tool market, the L10 series pumps are commonly used for subsea valve actuation, wireline control systems, blow out preventor controls and flushing rigs. L10 pumps can be applied anywhere there is a requirement for very high hydraulic pressures along with higher flows achieved by the 10-6 series.

L10 Series Double Acting Liquid Pump in a system

The L10 is a big pump! We have used them several times in custom systems needing large flows. Have a look at our Manufacturing page to see our capabilities or go to the Systems tab of the Products for standard systems.

50 Series Power Units

50 series power unit

The 50 series power units are self contained high low systems. Using either a 10-5 or 10-6 series pump and a 3 gallon pressurized reservoir the unit will provide low pressure high flow oil for rapid initial actuation (cylinder extension). The unit senses increased back pressure and automatically starts the pump that will bring fluid pressure to required level. The pump will stall and hold at selected pressure until operation is completed.

The 50 series units were designed to save operating and maintenance costs which combined with the SC pumps ability to hold pressure and not require any energy, all add up to an economical and environmentally friendly solution for hydraulic power.
